But as much as fans would love to see Flair wrestle again, they also know that he is 74 years old now. And considering his age, it’s just not safe for him to wrestle again in the squared circle. In his recent interview with PWInsider, Flair was asked if he would ever wrestle again.

To which he replied, “I just made it very clear to everybody that I could take bumps. I’ve got a Doctor’s release to do anything I want like that. Do I think I’ll wrestle again? No. Would I like to? Obviously”. This was also confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp for Fightful.com who put out a tweet stating the same. He said, “Ric Flair says his doctor has cleared him for bumping”.

While this news got wrestling fans excited, most of them were still worried for Flair’s safety.

Fans are worried that another match might lead to something fatal

Ric Flair’s last match was on 31st July 2022 in an NWA event. He teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade El Ídolo to face Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. Flair and Ídolo won that match. Flair later confirmed that he passed out twice during the match. And fans are well aware of this and hence are advising Flair not to enter the ring again.

One fan is worried that this might end the wrong way.

While another suggested that he should just retire from in-ring wrestling.

My love and passion for pro wrestling only grew over the years in the form of a mini collection of cards, stickers, tees, action figures and even a WWE Championship belt signed by the 'Big Red Machine' Kane himself (talk about getting lucky).
