We last saw Starks wrestle on AEW Collision on 30th March. It has been over a month since that show and we have no official updates regarding his status in the company. However, to diminish his injury rumors, he tweeted something that hinted at his perfect health. So, the question of why Tony Khan is not including him in matches or promos remains. Someone asked the same on the Fightful Wrestling Podcast. One of the co-hosts said, “As far as the Ricky Starks stuff, I feel like he’s on his way out.” His co-host replied, “He was just really hot at one point and they just couldn’t pull the trigger. I think that Punk program, whatever they did, was really weird. And then Edge destroyed him.”
