This week’s AEW Rampage was excellent, with each match and segment being better than the last. However, there was one segment that was the talking point of the entire night. Ruby Soho and Britt Baker shooting at each other.

Neither wrestler minced their words and meant every bit of it. The crowd ate up the chaos as both women took personal shots at each other.

The segment kept the fans on the edge of their seats, as there was no telling what both wrestlers might say next. Soho went off the rails by dragging Baker’s real life boyfriend in the mix by saying,

“Let’s talk about the D.M.D. huh? On the surface, you look like every other broad that I’ve stepped across the ring from. Entitled, self-centered, and b**ging some dude in the back.”

This was a direct reference to Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole, who just signed with All Elite Wrestling.

As the gloves came off, AEW Women’s World Champion also retaliated by reminding everyone that Ruby got fired from WWE. Baker said,

“I’m just trying to figure out why you are lying to everybody, including yourself. Because you have the audacity to call yourself ‘The Runaway’. But you didn’t run away from anything Ruby, you got fired!”

This was in reference to Ruby being released from WWE earlier this year, along with many other wrestlers.

As the war of words came to an end, both women squared off each other. The Women’s champ took two steps back, only to lunge at Soho. However, Baker missed and Ruby took the champ down to the floor. As Baker escaped the ring, Ruby picked up the AEW Women’s Championship belt and raised it high in the air.
