John Cena is the hacker. Uploading a video of himself in the gimmick, he tweeted, “Prepare for the Invasion. Null Sector’s forces are attacking Rio, Gothenburg, and Toronto.”

Part of his tweet also revealed that Overwatch 2: Invasion- the new event with player-versus-environment [PvE] missions, will release on August 10. But Cena’s involvement in the game is limited to promotions only.

Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of the game, confirmed that Cena will not be taking part in the game any further. The 16-time world champion, on the other hand, is no stranger to video games.

He has previously promoted WWE’s 2K games, where he is a playable character as himself. Apart from that, Cena, as Peacemaker, can be used as a character in Mortal Kombat 1, another in-demand video game.

Meanwhile, his gimmick as a hacker had a similarity to one of WWE’s created characters in the past.

When WWE appointed the hacker to keep things interesting
