Over the past 40 years, WWE has turned into a global phenomenon. Due to this, many stars from other streams of entertainment have become a part of the promotion. However, only a few had the audacity to send a warning to the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin. In an incident quite bizarre and unexpected, popular American singer, rapper, and the brain behind the hit song Sunflower, Post Malone said something to Austin that left the former WWE champion shaken.
Post Malone’s warning to Steve Austin
In a clip shared by WWE Games on X (formerly Twitter), Malone decided to send a warning to the 59-year-old star. He said, “Stone Cold Steve Austin I heard you talking a whole lotta mess backstage and I am here to kick your sweet a*s all around the ring here on WWE 2k24. Nerd.” Looks like Malone has been spending a lot of time playing previous WWE video games to get his skills all brushed up. However, Austin was not going to let this disrespect slide.

In response to the rapper’s threats, Austin said, ” See, that wasn’t mess. That was trash Post, that was trash. I was talking trash and that trash will become true.” He further added, “And you are so nervous, you can’t even speak right, that’s how scared you are of Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

Austin further advised Malone that it would be better if he stuck to songs and did not enter unchartered territories. He also mentioned what would happen to Malone if he did this again. “You better stick to singing songs or you are gonna get your a*s whooped by yours truly.”, Austin said.

But this rivalry is not going to stop anytime soon. This is because now Post Malone has officially become a part of the WWE Universe.
Post Malone is all set to wrestle
For those who are unaware, Malone was the Executive Soundtrack Producer for the WWE 2k24 video game. He ended up curating 12 songs for the game. While he is a musician, he also happens to be an avid WWE and WWE 2k video game series fan. Thus, working on the soundtrack served as an opportunity for him to enter the WWE ring. So he decided to enter the ring just like his real-life friend, Steve Austin.

WWE had previously announced the 2k24 Season Pass. This pass will include a myriad of new stars who are not included in the game’s original roster. One such star to be included in the pack is Post Malone. Titled as the Post Malone & Friends pack, Malone will be seen alongside Sensational Sherri, Mosh, Thrasher, Honky Tonk Man, & Jimmy Hart. Malone will be available to play in June 2024. Would you like to see the two have a WWE 2k24 match?
