After having a successful WWE career and rising to the top in Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson also started a few ventures of his own. Today, he is known as a smart businessperson around the world. Some of his popular brands are Project Rock, Teremana Tequila, ZOA energy drink, etc.

Earlier this year, Greg Doucette made a video on the fitness regime of Dwayne Johnson on his YouTube channel. Doucette is IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, Fitness coach, and YouTube personality. While talking about DJ’s caffeine consumption, he started the topic of ZOA energy and its effect.
Doucette shared views, “And so he created an energy drink known as ZOA, and frankly it’s basically a coffee. It’s a 160 ml of caffeine. Relatively safe for most people to assuming you don’t drink multiple cups a day.”
The fitness coach added, “And so is there anything wrong with that? No, providing you don’t consume it late at night. It won’t affect your sleep, going to give you energy, have you perked up. Perhaps reduce your appetite, boost your metabolism”
However, Doucette gave his views on DJ’s comments in the Delish interview. Johnson said, “Over the years I used to try and create my own energy drink by adding a powdered caffeine to a powdered amino acid to then a powdered carbohydrate”
The ZOA website also states the drink contains caffeine. Moreover, there are different flavors available for the drink and also a pre-workout drink which is called ZOA+.

The IFBB Bodybuilder in this video also shared that the WWE legend consumes coffee for energy, not his diet. Furthermore, he also shed light that Johnson hides half of his diet and shows only the other half of the world.
Is Dwayne Johnson really consuming 6000 – 8000 calories every day?
The Rock claims to have a strict diet regime which he is following half a decade now. He eats around 6000-8000 calories daily, in his six to seven meals across the day. This calculates to around 1000 calories per meal.

However, Greg Doucette said consuming such an amount of calories per day can make a person fat. Therefore, he says The Rock is lying about eating 6000 – 8000 calories every day.
The coach said, “There is no way he can eat this much. I think The Rock eats to look in his peak forms doing the movies. Maybe 4000, that would be respectable probably half of what is saying. But hey don’t take my word for it let’s listen to what he quite literally says he eats. We’ll see if it makes sense like 6000-8000 calories or more like half of that!”
