While DJ has been making news with his new projects, Smith was in the headlines for an infamous incident. Hart and Smith are well-known for having a strong bond and will soon work together on the remake of the classic film Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Similarly, The Rock and Smith are known to have a close relationship since Smith stated in an interview that he enjoys working with The Rock.

However, since DJ is rumored to grab the Aladdin 2 from Smith, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the response to Smith’s Oscar incident.

Reacting to the incident Dwayne Johnson stated, “when that happened I was in Hawaii. And then my phone started blowing up. And I didn’t believe it when my phone was blowing up and the first person I called was Kevin. I was like, man, let’s talk about this.”

Whereas Kevin Hart stated, “I don’t think there’s a reaction. I think it’s the same as anybody else. You know it’s a shocking moment. One is unfortunate, it’s something I’m glad that is now behind, just our, I know both parties, so I’m glad that it’s over and I’m glad that the conversation is dying right.”

The BFFs’ first shock was as typical as many people’s reactions. Additionally, Hart claims he is glad that the controversy is slowing down. Undoubtedly, the event was regrettable, and as a result, Smith lost out on several important projects, with one of them reportedly going to none other than The Rock.
