However, rumors about Ripley and fellow Australian wrestler Buddy Matthews have caught the attention of her fans. Recently, one fan tweeted about her liking her post joking that Ripley could go on a date with that fan, followed by speculation that Ripley is dating Buddy Matthews to get back at her opponent Liv Morgan.

Further, that fan asked what did Matthews have that they didn’t, and the former NXT champion replied, “Me”.

Moreover, Buddy Matthews has been with AEW since the past February. Before that, Matthews was Buddy Murphy of WWE, competing beside Seth Rollins and Wesley Blake in NXT, for eight years.
