29-Year-Old WWE Star Breaks Silence After His Wedding Goes Wrong

On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, R Truth came in for officiating the ‘Double Commitment Ceremony’ for Reggie & Dana Brooke and Tamina & Akira Tozawa. The audience was loud and chanting throughout this dramatic segment.

R Truth kept the event interesting and entertaining throughout. However, the “Double Commitment Ceremony” went terribly wrong. Meanwhile, Reggie breaks his silence over the terrible event and tweets, “I will not be accepting any interviews or answering questions about last night. It’s not what it seems #WWE #Weddingfails @WWE.”

After all the turmoil, Reggie-Brooke and Tozawa-Tamina were pronounced committed at the ceremony. However, the ceremony took a sudden turn as they began vying for the 24/7 title. Reggie brought Dana down on the mat while kissing her and then pinned her to win the 24/7 title.

Moreover, Tamina won the championship after knocking Reggie with a super-kick. However, in the end, Brooke won the title after slamming Tozawa with a crossbody off the top rope and she ran away on R Truth’s back with the title.

WWE Wedding Fails

There’s no doubt in saying that wrestling and weddings don’t blend. Wedding ceremonies on WWE TV are destined to fail.

In 2008, Edge was in a relationship with SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Moreover, Edge and Guerrero’s wedding was scheduled for a SmackDown episode, as they were ready to marry after months of dating. However, WWE Champion Triple H unexpectedly arrived and disrupted their wedding.

Likewise, Roman Reigns ruined Rusev and Lana’s wedding ceremony in 2016. Reigns in a bout for the United States Championship challenged Rusev (now Miro). Rusev had just retained his title after defeating Mark Henry.

However, after that, they started fighting, which led to Rusev shoving Lana into the large wedding cake. Consequently, Lana’s face was covered in cake.
