WWE is one of the largest wrestling promotions in the world and is often credited for turning women’s wrestling around. Wrestling legends Trish Stratus and Lita are often credited for inspiring future women wrestlers to become what they are today.

The division saw a major jump from the divas’ era to the women’s era, where wrestling is given priority over being eye-candies. Trish Stratus recently made her return to WWE prior to WrestleMania 39, but would soon turn heel against Becky Lynch.

Another female wrestling legend Madusa however recently made comments on Stratus destroying all of her hard work to make women wrestlers into superstars. She would criticize Stratus’ work and blame her for destroying all of her work.

Madusa is one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, however, an in-ring injury forced her to retire. She would later find fame in being an American truck driver and become one of the best there.

What did Madusa rant about Trish Stratus trying to destroy her hard work?

Alundra Blayze aka Madusa is herself a WWE Hall of Famer and recently went on a rant against her fellow Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus. Both these women are two pillars of women’s wrestling, although they do not seem to be on the same page.

Blayze would go on Twitter to complain about how Stratus had put the entire legacy of women’s wrestling down from what she had built. She wrote, “Trish has set the women back and turned them into a sideshow after all the work I did to get the women respected and legitimize them as the superstars that they are.”

The 60-year-old further wrote, “Trish brought in the blueprint that WWE used for decades that had to be UNDONE by the women who were inspired by men and the women that came before her. Trish made room for the Bella Twins and others, but I built a foundation for the 4 Horsewomen.”

She would also refer to her throwing the WWE Women’s Championship in the trash on WCW as a turning point in the women’s division.

Trish Stratus is yet to comment on the entire scenario. Instead, she is busy focussing on the challenge in front of her. Stratus is in a heated feud with Becky Lynch, and the two might enter a showdown at Night of the Champions in Saudi Arabia.
