The former WWE Champion already knows how to make stars like Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole. So, it is only a while before we see someone from NXT win the big prize. The only remaining question is, who could it be? Keeping this interview in mind, it looks like Triple H has the same plans for this 24-year-old star as Vince McMahon had before leaving the company. This superstar is none other than the wrestler who is rumored to be John Cena’s opponent at WrestleMania 39, the current United States Championship, Austin Theory.

Triple H reveals his true feelings about this Vince McMahon project

ESPN recently did a deep dive into Theory’s career and path till now. They asked many wrestlers about Theory, and even his current boss, Triple H.

Hunter said, “It’s a nuanced feeling… once you see this guy’s a great athlete, I’m looking for their personality, their charisma. Austin Theory has it, and then some. Do I think he has all the potential to be one of the biggest stars in the business?

Absolutely. What determines that? A lot of that is up to him now. You give him little bits of things here and there and he’s improving his game, and he’s smart. He listens to the crowd, he listens to the people. He sees all the stuff that’s going on, and he adapts his game on a regular basis.

With so much faith in him by both Vince and Hunter, it looks like Theory has a bright future ahead of him. But the only thing that might hold him back is himself.

Austin Theory’s fate in Triple H’s WWE at the moment

Before Triple H took over the company, Vince had his eyes set on Theory, being the next big thing in WWE. The biggest news came when he won the Money in the Bank briefcase, despite not being in the match. But he lost his briefcase in an ugly fashion, leading fans to taunt him.

But his win over Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley recently has put him back on track. We’ll just have to see what Royal Rumble has in store for him.
