In a recent episode of Ric Flair’s To Be The Man podcast, the Nature Boy answered several of his fans’ questions. In addition, during the episode, he was asked about his WrestleMania 18 match.

If you’re a wrestling enthusiast, you’ll remember Arn Anderson making an appearance and assaulting The Undertaker with a vicious spine buster. In addition, mentioning his spine buster, one fan asked Flair, “Your WrestleMania 18 match with The Undertaker. In my mind, should have had you go over after Arn’s spine buster.”

To which The Nature Boy replies, “Absolutely not. I would never be the one to take down an energetic streak. But I tell you what, when Arn [Arn Anderson] hit him with that, it was equally loud as anything else I heard that night. I can’t say it was a bigger pop than the Rock and Hulk. Man, when Arn slid in and gave him that they thought, Well, that’s all we had.”

The 20-minute match was so fierce and violent that both legends were viciously attacked at the end. When Arn Anderson entered the ring and hit Taker with the spine buster, it was one of the most entertaining moments of the bout. As a result, everyone expected Taker’s streak to be broken now, and Flair to emerge victorious. The Deadman, on the other hand, outplayed Flair and won the match.

Furthermore, according to Taker, the match between the two is one of the best in the Undertaker’s career. In addition, Flair claims that he had to compete against the greatest performance of all time on the grandest platform of them all.
