WWE NXT is full of opportunities for the upcoming superstars. We have seen several current main roster stars shine on the developmental brand before going to RAW or SmackDown. However, a current NXT superstar took a shot at the WWE’s third brand’s management on a recent episode of NXT.

Grayson Waller, who is known for bashing the NXT management, once again took a shot at the brand’s officials after a heated confrontation with Shawn Michaels.

The self-proclaimed face of NXT recently called out ‘The Showstopper’ for a match. However, HBK declined the request as won’t lace his boots again, but he brought Johnny Gargano as Waller’s opponent for NXT: Stand & Deliver.

Surprisingly, Waller later shared a promo video, of Bron Breakker, and Carmello Hayes and took a jibe at NXT management over “equal opportunities”.

He wrote, “No one is holding you back Grayson, everyone has the same opportunities” Waller added, “Bron and Melo- “Remember that meeting with Hunter and Shawn when they said we were the two guys.”

Last month ‘The Arrogant Aussie’ had confronted “Mr. WrestleMania when he was on a media call and got suspended for a week. Therefore, this week Waller had a face-to-face confrontation with Michaels at the special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect. 

This week’s segment on NXT Roadblock almost got fans thinking Michaels might have one more match. However, that isn’t the case, as the Australian star witnessed a blast from the past. 

Why did WWE star Johnny Gargano return to NXT?

Even though ‘The Rebel Heart’ is now on the main roster, he has some unfinished business on WWE’s third brand. Johnny Gargano left WWE in 2021 for some time and before that he addressed the WWE universe one last time on NXT.

To a shock, while Gargano was giving his farewell speech, Grayson Waller attacked him. The Arrogant Aussie made sure to give the former NXT Champion a brutal beatdown to remember while leaving the NXT roster.

Therefore, HBK scouted through the list of superstars in WWE and brought Gargano back to NXT to settle the score. Gargano and Waller will face in a singles match at NXT Stand & Deliver later this month.
