One fact that everyone is familiar with is that CM Punk is known as a troublemaker. His last public incident that caught everyone’s attention was at AEW All-In in 2023, where he got involved in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry. Following that, he was released by AEW and made his WWE return in November of the same year. However, this run was cut short after he suffered a massive injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble.

While he is not in a good mental state after being declared out of action, his real-life foe, Seth Rollins has a few words for him. Here’s what the WWE World Heavyweight Champion had to say about Punk after he had called him a troublemaker on multiple occasions.

In a recent interview with Wrestle Radio Australia, Rollins was asked how he felt after the Best in the World suffered an injury at Royal Rumble which foiled the original plan of Seth Rollins vs CM Punk at WrestleMania 40. To this question, he replied by saying, “I mean I don’t wanna say I told you so but I and a lot of other people told you so.”

He further on went to talk about a saying that has been doing rounds in the WWE fraternity lately. ” What’s the line, ‘Fragile mind, fragile body, fragile ego.’ I think somebody that I know said something like that about him and it rings true.” This has to be one of the hardest comments by Rollins after stating that Punk has disappointed him in the last decade.

Rollins also stated what advice he gave to Punk if he ever wanted to challenge him for his title. He stated that he told Punk that if he wanted to have his chance at the title, he had to work for it.

This statement by Rollins might prick Punk like a thorn, especially at a time when he might not be doing good, mentally and emotionally.

All it took was a DDT from Drew McIntyre to injure Punk at the 2024 Royal Rumble. The news quickly went out that Punk was injured and might soon address the injury. He did it on the following episode of Monday Night Raw and also stated that he would be out of action until he was medically cleared. However, the road to physical rehab is a long one for Punk. When the majority of the WWE squad was in Perth, Australia for the Elimination Chamber over the weekend, Punk had to stay back home due to his injury.

He wrote a message for his fans on Instagram which read, “Had a rough day mentally today. My heart and spirit are in Perth. Just a hard day staying positive and nobody wished I was there performing for the fans more than me. Enjoy the show, appreciate you all.” All we can do is hope that the Second City Saint returns as soon as possible and stronger than ever.
