

WWE has taken in numerous non-wrestlers, which has frequently been a wise decision as they have gone on to become some of the company’s greatest superstars. According to a recent disclosure regarding Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson, it doesn’t appear to have been working this time.
Due to his similar experience in the NCAA and Olympics, fans have frequently compared Steveson to WWE legends Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. In September 2021, Steveson signed the company’s first NIL contract. Since then, he has been on WWE TV on just a few occasions and was even drafted for the Raw roster in October.

The WWE has not had a chance to completely utilize the Olympic medalist, and recent claims from Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer have some terrible news for his fans. In his report, he noted, “Everything is cold on Gable Steveson. His brother [NXT wrestler Damon Kemp] is doing great, and they wanted to debut [Steveson] some time ago, but it hasn’t happened because reviews on his training progress haven’t been good.”

He added, “They were going to fast track him after he finished his last season in March, but he hasn’t even been around or talked about.”
Gable Steveson already made his WWE appearance
After signing a contract with WWE, the teenage wrestler appears to have an amazing career. Yet Steveson has not taken the ring in a WWE match. On Night 2 of WrestleMania 38, he did, nevertheless, appear on WWE television to confront Chad Gable.

The entire WWE fandom has been waiting impatiently for Gable Steveson to make his WWE debut. However, it might be worth the wait given Steveson’s caliber.
Meanwhile, The Minnesota Golden Gophers star is still searching for the right time to return to WWE. However, he appears to be waiting for a little longer right now. How things develop for him in the future will be interesting to watch for his fans.
