Becky Lynch is a free agent and is out of contract with a wrestling company for the first time in eleven years. The Irishwoman will finally take some time off the scene to be with her family, so her return is unpredictable. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has put itself on the competitors’ map as rumors of her next destination continue to take the wrestling community by storm.

Ricochet too seems to be another name who might jump ships as his contract expires soon too. But have you ever wondered how the insiders find out about the contract situations? Well, according to the Busted Open Podcast, it is none other than the wrestlers who provide the inside details of the same.

Becky Lynch, Ricochet, and others most likely revealed their own contract situations

In recent months, there have been many cases in WWE in which their wrestlers end their contract with the company in a short period of time. Moreover, it becomes unknown whether they continue with the WWE. Either because the company itself has not begun to talk to the talent in question in advance or for other reasons. It has now become known that another major wrestler will end his contract with WWE soon. Ricochet, too, is most likely headed toward AEW as his contract expires this summer.

And it is most likely that he revealed the information to insiders as well since the wrestlers do leak the information to create hype, according to the Busted Open Podcast. In their latest edition, they revealed, “I love when I read about somebody’s contract coming up. And I’m like, you know who leaked that? The person. And that’s the worst thing you could do. I’ve literally been in meetings and been like, Oh, look, what just leaked on the Internet?”

This is a move that, according to the podcasters, is really detrimental to the business. “And they were like, let’s not re-sign this person. Because obviously, they’re leaking their own personal information. And for what to try to get a buzz about themselves about their career? And to me, that’s more damaging than anything in this era of, you know, real sports. Hey, we just signed this person for a three-year deal.”

Ricochet is one of the best wrestlers that WWE has on its roster in terms of skill in the ring. So it is logical that companies like AEW want to have him on their roster. In fact, Will Ospreay recently spoke about Ricochet, showing his dissatisfaction with the treatment he receives in WWE and making it clear that he wants him in AEW. So it won’t be wrong to say that the high-flyer would want to create hype around himself to join a promotion that treats him better. As for Becky Lynch, it seems less likely that she would’ve revealed the information since it is possible that The Man might be taking a break from wrestling. Nevertheless, what do you make of the snipped shared by the wrestling insider? Let us know in the comments below.
