Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson comes from a wrestling family background. Moreover, he entered the WWE as a third-generation wrestler. He quickly established himself as one of the company’s top wrestlers. In an interview given to Vanity Fair, The Rock was asked a number of really personal questions. In addition, he was asked at what point in his life he realized he had made it.

Replying to that, he stated, “Well, there was a moment where I first started my pro wrestling career. And of course, when you wrestle, and you go to the venue, whether it’s at a flea market, or whether it’s at an arena. Everyone knows you there, so the adulation is strong.”

“I had landed in some Midwest city, had to drive to another city. And I was driving through the small town. I stopped at a gas station, and I got some gas and got some other things. And the person behind the counter said, ‘Are you the Rock?’ and it threw me because no one had ever recognized me outside of the world of pro wrestling.”

The Rock further added that he asked the gas station employee whether he want to take pictures since he was delighted to meet his first admirer.

If you had to predict Johnson’s earliest profession, you may think of something associated with fitness or sports. That’s not the case, as his first employment was in a pizza restaurant.

In an interview with WIRED in 2021, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson disclosed that his first job was as a dishwasher at a Pizza Shop. When asked what his first job was, Johnson replied, he stated, “My legit first job, I was 13 years old, and I worked in a pizza shop and I washed dishes. Middle School, every day from 3 o’clock till 11:30.”
