After the WWE-UFC merger, TKO released many WWE superstars. Dolph Ziggler (real name Nic Nemeth) was one of the top names in the released superstars list. It came as a shock to the WWE Universe because he had been with WWE for a very long time and was NXT champion not too long ago.

After the release, he chose to keep a low profile until now. The wrestling industry recently caught a glimpse of his wrestling comeback, three months after WWE released him in September of last year, and it didn’t happen in Tony Khan’s AEW.

Dolph Ziggler makes his debut at Wrestling Kingdom 18

Ziggler recently made his debut in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The fans saw him arriving at the Tokyo Dome during the Wrestle Kingdom 18 event, which took place on January 4, 2024. His brother, who is also an AEW star, Ryan Nemeth, accompanied him. He was wearing a black and white suit and looking dashing, as always.
