A major update came in following Seth Rollins’ recent title defense. Fans saw him giving his everything in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw against Jinder Mahal. Following that, it was announced that Rollins had been injured.  However, the extent of the injury was unknown. Recent details have emerged now and it looks like the situation is pretty grave.

Seth Rollins will not be appearing at the 2024 Royal Rumble

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, The Monday Night Messiah has sustained a completely torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus. This means along with his injured back, the star has now injured his leg too. While further details have not been published, it could be assumed that the current World Heavyweight Champion might be missing out on the 2024 Royal Rumble and possibly WrestleMania 40.

This adds Rollins to the list of the stars who will be missing out on major Premium Live Events this year. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Charlotte Flair had sustained an injury similar to that of Rollins. Along with that, it has been announced that she will not be participating in any matches for the next 9 months. If the same is considered for Rollins, fans might not be able to see him in action until September or October.

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
