While speaking with Critqal, the Peacemaker actor expressed how he enjoyed working with Jordana Brewster. Cena recalled a scene from the film where Jakob moves Mia out of harm’s way and asks if she’s okay, only to realize that she is just as tough as he is. He further recalled how Mia returned the favor by saving Jakob and asked the same question.

He said, “I crashed down through the floor, and push her out of harm’s way and look in the eye and be like, are you okay? Only to get hit immediately, like, of course she’s okay, she’s my sister. I know how tough she is and then she saves my behind and then she asked me the same question.”

John Cena went on to say that he liked how Jakob, a tactically dressed hero out to save the day, discovered that his sister can handle herself. Amidst all the intense action, Cena cherished the little brother-sister moment with Jordana on the set. He added, “This heroic looking tactically dressed Jacob who comes down to save the day and be like ‘are you okay?’ and Mia can, Jordana can totally handle herself. And I think that was a cool little brother sister moment in the middle of all that action that just I’m glad we didn’t waste it.”

As viewers, it was fascinating to see how Jakob, who had been exiled by his brother, Dom, eventually sacrificed his life for them.

Judging by the ending of the film, it’s conspicuous that John Cena has exited the F&F franchise. Moreover, he is currently involved in a new film project starring Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra.
