Van Vliet talks about his Hulk Hogan experience
Chris Van Vliet, who is a 4-time Emmy Award-winning TV host, recalled an interaction with Hogan. He said how people think of the former WWE Champion in a certain way, but he has had a different experience.
Talking about Hogan, Van Vliet said, “I remember we were walking down the hall of the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland to do this interview. I turned to him and I said thank you for doing interviews still because you’re at the level where you don’t need to do them. And he turns to me and he goes I’m at the level I’m at now because I still do them. And I went wow. Yes.”
Though this opinion of Van Vliet may prove slightly unpopular, it is still something for the fans to think about. Despite his issues backstage, Hogan has remained thankful to the fans who made him such a popular icon.

Not once, but twice, he revolutionized the wrestling industry. He kicked off wrestling’s boom period with WWE in the 1980s, bringing mainstream attention. A decade later, in the late 90s, Hogan changed the landscape of wrestling forever when he formed the nWo in WCW.
