Punk signs with Monday Night Raw
Last week on SmackDown, Punk disclosed that on this week’s Raw, he would make his decision to either join the Flagship show or the blue brand. He made his decision this Monday, and he chose to be a part of Raw. Just as he was celebrating with the WWE Universe, Rollins’ music hit and the World Heavyweight Champion emerged from backstage.
Now we all know the animosity between Punk and ‘The Visionary’ and what happened when the former returned at Survivor Series last month. Rollins is also a Raw superstar, so he was not so happy about Punk coming to Raw. To vent out his frustrations, he went inside the ring and confronted the returned superstar.
Like in the past, he rambled about Punk leaving WWE for selfish reasons and coming back again for selfish reasons. Rollins is not a fan of ‘The Second City Saint’ as he believes he abandoned WWE 10 years ago. With tensions building between the two superstars, only time will tell what will happen next.
