WWE’s latest Premium Live Event, Survivor Series was a treat for fans. While the lineup was particularly enthralling, fans also saw the return of CM Punk back to his old stomping ground. Following that, he was seen on Monday Night Raw where he addressed the audience in his presence. While fans are still cherishing the surreal moment, looks like The Second City Saint is still not over the dreamlike moment.

CM Punk can’t get over his WWE return

WWE posted a few clips from CM Punk’s return at last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Along with that WWE wrote that the star returned to the red brand after almost a decade. The star made his way out of the company back in 2014. Following that he had many brief stints at various places including UFC. Later in August 2021, Punk made his way to All Elite Wrestling. CM Punk stirring up some controversy

On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Punk addressed the audience who were present at the venue. While fans were excited to hear him do his famous promos, they were not expecting to be left in shock. During the promo, Punk dropped a bold statement by saying, “I am not here to make friends. I am here to make money.” This statement has sparked some debate in the pro wrestling community.

While many considered it a bold statement, one former WWE star in particular thought of it as a publicity stint. Kevin Nash who happened to be Punk’s old foe shared his thoughts recently. On his podcast Kliq This, the former WWE star thought of the act as a deliberate way to start a conversation. He even said that he had heard this line plenty of times before. While Nash thinks of this as a cheap trick pulled by Punk, it sure worked in his favor as people are still talking about Punk. What was your favorite moment from CM Punk’s return at Raw?
