WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is taking place in Saudi Arabia and has one of the most packed match cards of all time. With Triple H in charge this time, the PPV seemed promising, and it did have a good start. All the matches leading into this PPV had a good buildup to them.

The PPV started with Bobby Lashley going against Brock Lesnar in one of the most awaited matches in a long time. Lashley and Lesnar had last faced each other at Royal Rumble 2022 when Lashley came out victorious.

The match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar was filled with momentum and had several exciting spots. The two stalwarts faced each other, while filled with anger and rage. While Lashley had lost his United States Championship because of Lesnar, Lesnar was yet to conquer The Almighty.

Fans were extremely over during the match and cheered both Lashley and Lesnar throughout the match. The matchup also included spots where Lashley speared The Beast Incarnate multiple times, even one time through a barricade.

However, the ending of the match was extremely unexpected. During the ending moments of the match, Lashley caught Brock Lesnar in a hurt lock. The moment Lesnar was about to pass out, his adrenaline kicked in.

Lesnar used the turn-buckle to his support to gain momentum and pushed back Lashley to counter the hurt-lock into a roll-up pinfall. Lashley could not kick out from the roll-up and tasted defeat. However, soon after the match ended, Lashley would turn heel and attack Lesnar again and lock him to the hurt lock again.

After the post-match attack, Lashley would walk out of the ring coldly, while Lesnar was down and out in the ring.

The end of the match came as a surprise and left many in shock. While Lesnar was expected to win, and avenge his previous defeat, a win like this was not expected. Fans on social media quickly took turns reacting to Lesnar’s shocking pin-fall win against Lashley.

“Honestly, what the f**k was that match?”, just everyone who saw it would ask!

While the finish came as an extremely odd one, and something that the fans were not expecting, it definitely set up a third match. Throughout the match, Lashley looked extremely strong. Lesnar finished the match with a roll-up making Lashley look strong as well.

However, the feud is far from over, with Lashley possibly turning a heel, a third and final match might be on its way.
