Pro wrestling stars often share their cherished moments with their fans on social media. Whether it be a new professional decision or a part of their personal lives, they keep their fans updated about what’s going on. Similarly, a few weeks ago, former WWE star Peyton Royce, now known as Cassie Lee, and her husband Shawn Spears, who wrestled in WWE as Tye Dillinger, announced the birth of their first child on Instagram. It was followed by a flurry of wishes from many WWE stars like Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Natalya, among others.

Lee posted an adorable photo of their newborn in which he held the fingers of his parents. And now Shawn Spears has posted a photo of him having “tummy time” with his son, which is melting the fans.

In August last year, Cassie Lee, who formed the tag team The Illconics in WWE with Billie Kay, announced that she was pregnant. Then in November, Spears revealed the name of their baby, Austin Jay, on Renee Paquette’s ‘The Sessions’ podcast. Lee and Spears finally announced the birth of their first child together on January 17 this year.

A couple of days ago, Spears, who now wrestles for AEW, posted an adorable photo of him having some father time with his newborn son on Instagram. Spears captioned the photo, “Tummy time with poppa.” In the photo, the new father is lying on his belly as his son is also resting in the same position.

Shawn Spears and Cassie Lee have begun a new phase of their life as parents. With their first child growing up, fans will hope to see more such heartwarming posts by the couple in the future.

Even though he enjoyed popularity as Tye Dillinger in WWE with the “Perfect Ten” gimmick, the company released him in 2019. He had an enjoyable run in NXT before coming to the main roster and his eventual exit from the WWE. He then joined AEW in 2019 and began a feud with Cody Rhodes after hitting him with a brutal chair shot at Fyter Fest.

Going by the name Shawn Spears, he gave himself the moniker of ‘The Chairman of AEW’. He lost to Cody Rhodes at the All Out pay-per-view but remained a thorn in the side of the Rhodes family. Afterward, he aligned himself with the legendary Tully Blanchard and the tag team FTR as they joined MJF to form The Pinnacle.

In 2022, after AEW star Wardlow beat him in a steel cage match, Spears took a hiatus and returned in October and brought back his ‘Perfect Ten’ gimmick, turning face. Since then, he has been on a leave of absence to handle the birth of his first child. Fans will now keep an eye out for the return of ‘The Chairman’ now that he has become a father.
