Sexton was popular for his role as “Donnie Baker.” Besides this, he also played the role of “Floyd” the Trucker, “Rick”, “Coach Ralph Fontaine”, “Kenny Tarmac”, and “Tony Soprano” many more in his radio show. Just like Baker, he brought each and every character to life with his incredible talent. He was also known for his on-spot celebrity impersonations.
The Indianapolis native died July 21 in Ohio while on his standup comedy tour. Sexton’s family posted a message on Facebook informing people about his death. The message read “It is with immense sadness that we let everyone know that Ron Sexton passed away yesterday. He was Donnie Baker to most of you, but Ron and Dad to us. Please respect our privacy at this time and pray for our family.” The details of his death are unknown at the moment.
Meanwhile, fans showcased their appreciation for Sexton as they poured their feelings into acknowledging the ‘comedic genius.’

The fans were sad to hear the devastating news of Sexton’s demise, with Pat McAfee being one of them. Sharing a photo of himself standing alongside the deceased star, McAfee penned down a beautiful message for him. He expressed his grief at losing “one of his favorite human beings”, who made him laugh every time the words fell out of the latter’s mouth.

Also, he mentioned that he was a huge fan of Sexton long before he got the opportunity to be on his show. He stated that it was an honor to meet him and he was very kind to him. He thanked the late star for being kind to him and ended his message with an acknowledgment of the deceased star.
The comedic timings and exceptional punchline deliveries were some of his fortes and the people are going to miss it dearly.
