On AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin beat the Dark Order’s Preston ‘#10′ Vance. Despite being outweighed and outmatched in the power game, Allin wasn’t the underdog. With the win, Darby surpasses Cody Rhodes’ record and registers the most consecutive TNT title defences with nine.

#10 tried his best to bring the TNT Title back to the Dark Order, but Allin proved to be too quick to outmanoeuvre. He locked Darby in the full nelson submission hold, kind of like Bobby Lashley’s Hurt Lock, but Allin rolled through and pinned #10’s shoulders to the mat for his ninth successful title defence.

At this rate, it looks like Darby Allin will clean out the entire AEW locker room. Since winning the title at Full Gear 2020, Allin has registered nine straight title defenses.

His first defence was against Brian Cage at the height of their rivalry in January, and the last challenger was Dark Order’s #10.

Cody Rhodes defended the title eight times before losing it to Brodie Lee. He beat the likes of Jungle Boy, Marq Quen, Eddie Kingston, Sonny Kiss, Jake Hager, Warhorse, Ricky Starks and Scorpio Sky. Although he has more defences in total across two reigns, his single reign record has been broken.

Darby Allin defended the title against Jungle Boy, Scorpio Sky, John Silver, Matt Hardy, The Butcher, Joey Janela, Brian Cage, and now Preston Vance. Who will take the TNT Title away from the reigning champion?

It looks like Darby Allin and Sting have received their next opponents in AEW. The Icon and the TNT Champion were at the end of an attack from AEW’s newest signing, Ethan Page, and Scorpio Sky. Sky turned heel after suffering a loss to Allin in a TNT Title match after AEW Revolution.

Page and Sky joined forces on AEW Dark: Elevation, but their partnership looks too good to be relegated to an online show. In Darby and Sting, they have zeroed in on two lucrative targets who will help them rise higher in the ranks.

Page looks like a potential challenger for the TNT Champion and might be the one to take it away from Darby. Despite their incredible rivalry in Evolve going Darby’s way, Ethan Page will be the heavy favourite in a match against Darby.
