There is no doubt that fans regard Dwayne Johnson as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. But that wasn’t the case since he first step foot in the company. Being the first third-generational talent in WWE, there were huge expectations from Johnson to deliver right from the get-go. But he failed miserably, and something similar is happening with his daughter, Simone Johnson, AKA Ava Raine as well.

But being the daughter of The Rock, she isn’t quieting down against these haters. Instead, she silenced all the haters by taking out a page from her own father’s past.

After the NXT Battleground, where Ava Raine popped up to create a distraction for her rival, Ivy Nile, one fan on Twitter, asked why people hate Raine. Many commented about her work in the NXT roster and her character work in the promotion. But others also pointed out that people were making her live up to the standards of her father, The Rock.

So, to silence everyone and put the debate to rest, Raine responded with the image of people with signs that said, “Die Rocky Die” in relation to The Rock. This iconic image was in relation to Johnson’s first gimmick in WWE, Rocky Maivia, which failed to connect with the fans at all. But this wasn’t the first time that Raine faced backlash from fans, unlike last time though, she had a response this time.

While she started back in 2020 through the Performance Center, her big debut on NXT was in 2021. She debuted as the fourth member of The Schism faction in NXT and made her wrestling debut soon after. Right now, she is still with The Schism but now feuding with The Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile after costing them the tag team titles.

Now, she’s angling on her first singles feud with Ivy Nile, which will surely show fans her wrestling ability. Being the first fourth-generational talent in WWE might be a heavy load, but Raine is lifting it with charisma.
