Roman Reigns has been a dominant WWE Universal Champion for over a year now. His latest challenge came in the form of Finn Balor. Unfortunately, the battle for Balor is over as Roman Reigns beat him to retain his title on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
However, it was after the match when the WWE Universe noticed a subtle Easter egg upon the comeback of a superstar, or perhaps an ex-WWE superstar.

Roman Reigns decimates Finn Balor
The WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman came out after Usos’ did the damage to Balor, who was lying in the ring defenseless.
Right off the bat, Reigns launched Balor across the ring with ease. He then stomps away while Balor was down in the corner. During the match, there were several moments when it felt like Balor will go home with the title, but Reigns had other ideas.

Eventually, Balor passed out after Reigns applied the Guillotine in the middle of the ring, and the referee called for the bell.
A new opponent for Reigns?
After the match, Reigns stands tall in the middle of the ring as his music hits. As he was making his way out, a red light and a heartbeat that plays over the arena briefly interrupted Reigns’ music.
Even WWE’s Twitter handle acknowledged this subtle red light.

Interestingly, this subtle Easter egg might hint at the comeback of ‘The Demon King’ persona of Finn Balor. The red light and the faint heartbeat sound are both parts of The Demon King’s entrance.

If it’s not ‘The Demon King’, then WWE could’ve hinted at the comeback of Bray Wyatt. Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship by dethroning The Fiend at SummerSlam 2020.
One more reason the ‘Red Light’ might indicate Wyatt’s return is that WWE has sold The Fiend’s merchandise on their website.

Whoever it may be, the WWE did a brilliant job with the Easter egg.
