This Monday’s RAW episode had fans excited. Dominik Mysterio was set to defend his title of North American NXT Champion. After an exhilarating match, he was successful in doing so. But it all happened in the absence of Rhea Ripley, Mysterio’s on-screen partner in crime. Even though he was able to do so without her, he was left with a black eye. 

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley hasn’t been seen on screen for more than a couple of weeks. With her absence during Mysterio’s match with Cody Rhodes and his recent title defense against Dragon Lee, it’s really hard to say what is she up to and how will this affect their relationship.

Mami is not done

Recently in a backstage interview, fans saw Dominik Mysterio with his title belt. As he was talking with a correspondent and thanking Dragon Lee for the black eye he was given, he was suddenly attacked by Lee yet again. The ambush left the 26-year-old star stunned, and he fell to the floor. This was before a couple of referees came backstage to break the fight and escort Lee out. 

This scene had left The Eradicator furious. She immediately took to social media to show how enraged she was after seeing the scene. She said, “You hurt my Latino Heat, my Dirty @DomMysterio35… I ain’t done with you either @dragonlee95…”. The warning was clear that she would be coming to even things out with Lee.

But fans are not sure how Mysterio will reciprocate to it.

During last week’s match with The American Nightmare, Dominik Mysterio suffered a defeat at Rhodes’ hands. As for Ripley, she was not present at the ringside for her ‘Dirty’ Dom. Mysterio blamed her absence as the cause of his loss. As Mysterio was available by her side during her title defense against Raquel Rodriguez, he expected the same from her. But she was nowhere to be seen supporting him in his last two matches.

This led fans to ask questions, specifically where is Ripley? And will she be present this Saturday to help Mysterio for his title defense?

Where is Rhea Ripley?

During her second title defense against Raquel Rodriguez, the match was interrupted by the return of Nia Jax. After she destroyed Rodriguez with the surprise attack. She turned to Ripley. The attack was so gruesome that fans were wondering whether she got injured for real. WWE announced that Rodriguez suffered a whiplash injury and Ripley suffered a bruised rib.

However, according to reports by Fightful Select, she is back in Australia as she had already planned the time off way back. Now fans can rejoice that the 26-year-old star is having her much-deserved time off. But her warning to Lee might mean something.

This coming Saturday, Dominik Mysterio will be seen on NXT. He will be having a title defense match against NXT rising star Trick Williams. According to WWE’s official website, the special guest referee for this match would be none other than Dragon Lee himself. This might be the right time for Ripley to return, as she can lend Mysterio a hand by helping him defend his title and by settling the score with Lee.
