Despite Being Out of WWE, Matt Riddle Set to Face Another One of Roman Reigns’ Cousins

New York-based wrestling promotion, Major League Wrestling has released a poster for their upcoming live PPV, Kings of Colosseum. The poster has nothing unusual in it, barring the presence of former WWE star Matt Riddle who will face another one of Roman Reigns’ cousins.
It will be a continuation of Riddle’s constant battles against The Anoa’i family which now includes a fifth member on the list.

After being fired by WWE for controversial behavior outside of the WWE ring, Riddle is set to appear again as he carries on his battle against The Anoa’i family. He has faced Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa during his stay in WWE.

Although the official website of MLW for the event does not include Matt Riddle’s name, a poster was shared on X by William Gardner, a sports journalist, on December 16th that features him. In the new poster, he could be seen alongside former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu, thus indicating a match against the Samoan machine.

Trained by his uncle and former WWE superstar Rikishi, Fatu joined MLW in 2019. Since then, he has won the MLW National Openweight Championship and MLW World Heavyweight Championship. He also holds the record for the longest title reign at 819 days.

The poster also states that the PPV will take place at 2300 Arena, Philadelphia on January 6th with the show expected to start at 6 PM local time. Fans can buy tickets from TIX, starting at $15, or watch it on FITE+ or watch the TV tapings on beIN Sports channel. The show also features MLW World Champion Alex Kane (w/Mr. Thomas) taking on Richard Holiday (w/Saint Laurent).
