Dwayne Johnson brought his star power and box office to pull to the DC Extended Universe after taking up the role of anti-hero Black Adam. The movie, which also starred Hollywood icon, Pierce Brosnan, introduced Black Adam and the Justice Society of America to the fans.

With The Rock as the lead and a surprise cameo from Henry Cavill as Superman, the movie pulled in $67 million at the opening weekend. This made it the most successful opening for DJ’s career. Its opening weekend total worldwide did a good $142 million.

Currently, the movie stands at a collection of slightly over $350 million. The number is again impressive, but given Dwayne Johnson’s star power and DC’s popularity, they will feel they could’ve earned a bigger profit. Moreover, Marvel’s latest movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever crossed Black Adam’s entire collection after just its second weekend.

But now Dwayne Johnson’s movie has found success on digital platforms after it rocketed to the number one spot on iTunes after its debut on the platform. Shortly afterward, when The Rock shared this news, the fans began pouring their love and support for The Black Adam.

Fans praised the DC movie and applauded The Rock.

Some fans even asked The Rock about the sequel.

With the Black Adam finding more success on the digital platform, Rock’s first outing as a superhero has been a success with the fans loving every bit of it. For The People’s Champion, this could be the motivation he needs to continue with the franchise and bring even more profits to the DCEU, both critically and commercially.
