Pre-taping shows come with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. However, WWE sure does know how to bring the viands from the former by editing the segments. They also did a lot of re-shooting for the ones that they felt are not good enough for the show.
WWE with re-tapings?
Fightful select, in one of its recent reports, revealed that during the latest round of tapings of the show, there were a couple of strange re-tapes.

The first instance took place while the match between Otis and King Corbin from the smackdown was being filmed. Fightful mentioned that it was odd how Otis’s opponent tried redoing a particular move. Otis ended up receiving as many as four spine busters until they decided to go with one that they thought met the needs of the show. It was later revealed that the spine buster wasn’t what went wrong.

MVP’s promo for Monday Night RAW got re-shot as well. The reason being, the superstar messing up the verbiage. Bobby Lashley’s manager reportedly addressed the audience as “NXT Superstars.” The promo was interrupted right after as it was announced. The interruption was by an unknown person. He claimed that the audience are to be referred to as “Performance Centre Recruits.”
“We’re told that Otis ended up having to take four pretty brutal spine busters due to re-films, and were told that wasn’t even the part of the match that was messed up. There was also a re-shoot during an MVP promo because he referred to the audience as “NXT Superstars.” Someone came over the loudspeaker to cut off the promo to say to only refer to the audience as “Performance Center recruits“, Fightful select reported.
WWE has a history of indulging its performers in a surplus of a parade. They do this to make the product come across as feisty. WWE has the option of editing and re-shooting at hand. There is going to be no space for the shots or the segments that do not fit their standard of perfection.
