Disney appears to be going all out for Johnson. Disney and The Great One have a long history of collaboration. Both have previously worked together on several film projects, including Race to Witch Mountain, Moana, and Jungle Cruise. The Rock also collaborated with Disney for his XFL media rights.

According to recent reports, Brahma Bull is once again in discussions with Disney for its iconic animated film Treasure Planet. The movie was an excellent adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novel, Treasure Island. The movie received several nominations for awards, including Academy, Annie, and many others.

It had a reported $140 million budget. However, the film underperformed at the box office, earning just over $109 million globally. Disney is counting on Johnson to deliver another massive blockbuster given his track record at the box office. It will also be interesting to watch how this conversation evolves in the future. Meanwhile, The Rock is in talks about a role in Pirates of the Caribbean.
