Almost all WWE superstars enjoy adulation from their fans, be it in person or on social media. However, they also get their fair share of criticism from detractors, who at times remind the talents of their misdemeanors. But there are times when a fan crosses the proverbial line of decency.

As stated, a person recently made a rather harsh comment about Charlotte Flair. Unwilling to let the comment slip by, the 14-time world champion shot back at the troll with a classy reply.

It is no secret that Flair, 37, has been under the knife. She herself has been open about getting breast augmentation surgery at the age of 20. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion shared a photo on Instagram, standing knee-deep in water. The Queen captioned the post as: “Darling, You look so good in sunrise.” According to the post, the photo was snapped in Miami, Florida.

While it attracted over 74,000 likes and hundreds of comments, one comment caught her eye. A user decided to target Flair for her past surgeries and commented: “Wonder she doesn’t melt in the sun the amount of plastic surgery she’s had.”

Replying to the user, The Nature Girl appeared ‘kind’, stating, “@niallceltic10 I’ll pray for you amigo 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.” One would hope that the user will be able to identify their transgression and stick to being polite from next time onwards.

However, this wasn’t the first such instance for Flair. She has previously opened up about getting slammed for her appearance.

Charlotte Flair once spoke about battling body dysmorphia and fighting negativity

The 37-year-old might have been one of the most dominant athletes in the WWE women’s division, overcoming stiff challenges from her peers, but Charlotte Flair has had to battle tougher opponents outside the squared circle.

As per one of the episodes of A&E show Biography: WWE Legends, Flair battled with herself as she suffered from body dysmorphia. It is a form of mental illness that forces one to constantly find flaws in one’s physical appearance. This was also the reason that she decided to have a bigger chest at the age of 20.

However, it proved to be futile as Flair kept on receiving hate online. “Online, I’ve gotten so much criticism over the years Charlotte’s built like a man, Charlotte looks like an iPhone, she has no a** like constant every day,” she said.

Apart from their physical appearance, fans have also questioned her privilege in the WWE, which was also contested by her earlier. While it’s not bad to engage in the occasional banter and rectify mistakes, fans must also realize that these pro wrestlers are also human beings. Therefore, comments shouldn’t be bereft of decency.
