Coming live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, this episode of WWE RAW was action-packed. The show had Cody Rhodes answering Dwayne Johnson’s counteroffer on SmackDown. Jey Uso facing Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch going up against Nia Jax, The Judgment Day meeting Imperium, and much more. Here is everything that went down on the show.

WWE Monday Night RAW 4/03/2024 Results

In-ring segment: The show started off with The American Nightmare addressing the people. He talked about how The Rock insulted the audience during his last appearance on SmackDown. He talked about the challenge Johnson offered him and Seth Rollins. This led to Rhodes calling out Rollins. The World Heavyweight champion came out and talked about Johnson’s 21-minute video on social media.

Both men insulted Johnson for everything he said in his video. Moreover, they both accepted the challenge for the tag team match. Rollins even claimed that he would take care of his opponent, Drew McIntyre, for the WWE World Heavyweight title. The segment ended with Rhodes and Rollins saying they would be on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Rhodes says they will see Johnson and Roman Reigns on SmackDown to confirm the match face-to-face.

Backstage segment: Dominik Mysterio is seen backstage, getting ready for his match with Gunther.

Gunther vs. Dominik Mysterio

Winner: Gunther

Despite hitting The Ring General with a chop of his own that stunned the audience, Dom Dom was no match for Gunther. Keeping the match in control throughout, Gunther made quick work of Dirty Dom. After a Boston Crab on Dom Dom, Gunther won via submission.

Backstage Segment: Adam Pearce was seen talking to Damage CTRL before being interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura claims he wants a shot at the Intercontinental title, which Peace says he has an announcement for later on.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Winner: Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

Both teams put up a strong fight, with Damage CTRL watching by the ringside. Baszler and Stark kept control, with Chance and Carter getting some good spots in between. Despite hitting a wild and impressive 450 splash, Stark and Baszler picked up the win.

Post-match: Damage CTRL got into the ring to confront the winners. They said they would make Baszler and Stark go home crying like Bayley, to which the women said they would see them next week.

Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch

Winner: The match ended due to Liv Morgan interfering 

It’s another David vs Goliath match with Lynch trying everything to put Jax down. With sleeper holds and top rope drop kicks, this match was Lynch trying to beat Jax with by giving it her all Even after a Samoan Drop on the outside and a leg drop from the second rope, Lynch continued. The match was stopped as Liv Morgan attacked Jax as payback for what Lynch did last week.

Post-match: As Morgan and Lynch argued, Jax attacked both women on the outside.

Backstage segment: Ricochet is seen talking to Pearce before Judgment Day shows up. They want JD McDonagh to take on Gunther.

Backstage segment: Lynch and Morgan argue backstage before The Man puts forward the prospect of facing off in the ring next week. Morgan accepts, and Rhea Ripley walks by, laughing at Lynch.

Andrade vs. Apollo Crews

Winner: Andrade

This was Andrade’s first singles match back in the WWE since his return. Despite Crews putting up a great fight, Andrade proved to be too much in this short match. Andrade picked up his first win in the WWE since his return.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Adam Pearce announced that Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, JD McDonagh, Ricochet, Bronson Reed, and Chad Gable will face off in a Gauntlet match next week. The winner will face Gunther for the IC title at WrestleMania XL.

The Judgment Day vs. Imperium

Winner: Judgment Day

The match started out as Judgment Day wanted revenge on Imperium for what Gunther did to Dominik Mysterio. The match was thrilling, with the audience getting behind Balor. Despite multiple near falls, Imperium did not go down easy. The duo ensured Judgment Day was worried about winning. However, even with their best effort, Judgement Day won cleanly.

Backstage segment: Drew McIntyre is seen talking to Jackie Redmond. He claims Seth Rollins is a spotlight junkie and talks about his match with Jey Uso in the main event.

Sami Zayn vs. Ivar

Winner: Sami Zayn

While Ivar used brute force in the match, Zayn worked the match with brains. Knowing that strength was not on his side, Zayn played on the defense throughout the match. Finally, getting the upper hand, Zayn picked up the win he was so desperately waiting for.

Post-match: Bronson Reed attacked Zayn after the match.

Backstage segment: Gunther is interviewed regarding next week’s match. He said he was flattered by the talent in the match gunning for his title. Chad Gable interrupted the interview to say he would take the title off Gunther at WrestleMania XL.

Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre

Winner: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre started off strong, controlling the match, with Jey trying his best to get a breather. The Scotsman had an answer for everything Jey threw at him. The match went outside the ring near the end. After three super kicks and a spear, Jey had his break. Despite the break, Jimmy Uso showed up by the ringside to distract Jey, leading to a Claymore for the win.

Post-match: Seth Rollins came out as Jimmy Uso got into the ring with a steel chair. After taking out Jimmy, McIntyre hit him with a devastating Claymore to round off the show.
