On the recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown, NFL star and SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee was building up a feud against Happy Corbin. During the show, McAfee challenged Corbin to a fight at SummerSlam. However, the McAfee promo, which has received a lot of attention, seems to impress the WWE legend, Dwayne Johnson.

If you missed it, on the most recent episode of SmackDown, McAfee used his announcer’s table to deliver the epic promo, in which he outlined his intention to make a comeback in the ring at SummerSlam.

During the segment, a SmackDown commentator used The Rock’s iconic catchphrase, “the millions and millions.” McAfee claimed that using the microphone to speak to millions and millions of WWE fans makes him feel alive, with an everlasting reference to the catchphrase of The Rock.

Additionally, McAfee shared the promo on Twitter and tagged Brahma Bull. He wrote, “BUM A** CORBIN.Why don’t you ponder this.. #SummerSlam YOU & ME. NASHVILLE TENNESSEE. In front of the MILLIONS. & MILLIONS in the #WWE Universe. Shahtaht to my man @TheRock.”

Dwayne Johnson responded, by saying, “In front of the MILLIONS…. AAAAAND MILLIONS….“BUM A** CORBIN” That’s good s**t brother! Great promo. Enjoyed watching this. #ISmellIt.”

‘The People’s Champ’ responds in a way reminiscent of his former employer Vince McMahon. It’s commonly known that Mr. McMahon frequently uses the phrase “that’s good s**t.”

How will the rivalry between McAfee and Corbin grow?

Following Corbin’s loss to Madcap Moss, a rivalry between him and McAfee erupted last week. Corbin was enraged because McAfee called him “Bum A** Corbin.” Additionally, once McAfee issued the challenge to Corbin, he responded on Twitter.

Corbin stated, “You knew I wasn’t going to be in Austin, so you’re flapping your gums and putting my name in your mouth. Well Pat, let’s see how tough you really are when we’re standing face to face, punk!”

Interestingly, McAfee competed in his final bout at WrestleMania 38, defeating Austin Theory but falling short against Vince McMahon. However, the WWE universe seemed to be quite eager to see McAfee back in the ring.
