Dwayne Johnson is known for his intense workout habit. The Hollywood star remains highly focused in the gym. However, this extreme focus has led him to a habit that many won’t like and will actually gross people out.

He said, at that time, he doesn’t have the time to go to the bathroom as he was training. So he used a bottle instead. But later, the ‘Black Adam’ star has given context for this gross habit of his.

Dwayne Johnson explains his unusual bathroom habit

The Rock has given a context for his unusual bathroom habit of peeing the water bottle.

Speaking to Esquire in 2021, the former WWE star said, “I do pee in my water bottles, but let me give context to that,[…] It’s not a water bottle that I’ve purchased solely for water that you wash and you clean when you’re done using it.These are just bottles that I’m no longer using.”

He continued, “And usually, the gyms that I work out in don’t have a bathroom. There’s no bathroom there, it’s just hot, sweaty, and dirty. I usually stay pretty hydrated. I need to go to the bathroom a lot. Not a lot, but probably a couple of times during every workout I have to go to the bathroom. So, break out the bottle.” [01:16]

Well, this context is something that few gym-going people can relate to. While this habit may still put many people off, the WWE Hall of Famer’s explanation may come as a relief to some.

The former WWE Champion also explained that he takes three showers in a day.

He said, “Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work,” 

Will The Rock return to WWE?

There have been numerous reports that ‘The Great One’ will return to WWE to start a program with his cousin and current Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania next year.

WrestleMania 39 will take place in California, the home of Hollywood. As such, this match could bring more mainstream attention to WWE.

It will be interesting to see, if The Rock returns to WWE, given his Hollywood schedule, what approach will they take to build up this match.
