Finding something Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can not do is impossible. Besides having a sagacious career in professional wrestling entertainment, and being the most popular Hollywood celebrity in the world, The Rock is a talented singer as well. Also, he has sung a wide hit Disney song a few years ago and even aced rap portion in that too.

Further, ‘The Great One’ plays guitar like a pro, as seen in The Rock Concert in a promo for WrestleMania 28 in 2012. Recently, he revealed the first guitar he got from a famous musician. And it was the country legend, Willie Nelson.

Willie Nelson is a forefather icon of country music. The Red Headed Stranger from Texas is one of the legends who redefined the soul of country music. Further, it’s unknown how the wrestling superstar became friends with Nelson. But it’s the almighty Rock, and there is not a single person who would refuse to hang out with him.

Recently Dwayne Johnson posted a video of someone doing a cover for a Willie Nelson song. And the song is not a quite famous one, named ‘Lying cheating wife’, revealing a piece of new information for the fandom. He wrote, “Willie Nelson gave me my 1st guitar.. This barroom legend taught me how to play it – with this song! The fun we had..”

Moreover, the Brahma Bull has shown off his guitar skills in 2012, as a promo for WrestleMania 38, as a response to the ‘rapper’ baby face of WWE, John Cena. He was mocking Cena throughout the song, with a catchy hook, “but we’re dancing coz Cleveland rocks“. Meanwhile, more notably, The Rock played the guitar without a flaw, acing a hilarious song, like a pro.

Likewise, everyone must be familiar with the top-grossing Disney movie, Moana, in which ‘The People’s Champ’ played the role of a Hawaiian demigod, Maui. In the movie, he sang a beautiful song, ‘You’re Welcome‘, written by Lin Manuel-Miranda, the same one who created Encanto and Hamilton. He has also sung a verse in Tech Nine’s song, Face Off.

It would come as a surprise to many that Dwayne Johnson is a massive fan of country music. Although if it was Stone Cold Steve Austin, it would have been a very obvious prediction. In an old Instagram post, The Great One has said about his love for country music as well.

Over the years, the Jumanji actor has sung hip-hop and rap, and we even would imagine what if The Rock trying out rock music as well. As he has many more projects in Hollywood to work out in the future, let’s hope to hear his musical talent turn up more.
