“Elon, the Genius”: WWE Legends Grill Elon Musk for Twitter’s $34 Billion Devaluation Since Taking Over

Elon Musk has been in the news ever since his takeover of Twitter. His emergence as the new leader of Twitter brought in a lot of criticism and controversies. His new policies and 12-hour working shifts also raised a lot of eyebrows.
As he took over the social media giant, he fired several employees, including the then-CEO, Parag Agarwal. People are now questioning Musk’s credibility and his ideologies behind taking over the social media giant.

Several current and former WWE stars reacted to the acquisition of Twitter by Musk and criticized his handling of the company. Former manager to Bobby Lashley, MVP took to Twitter and expressed his frustrations over this.
He said, “So Elon, the genius, bought Twitter for 44 BILLION, selling a lot of Tesla stock to do so.”

He further wrote how Twitter’s valuation has fallen on the market and is now just worth a mere $8 billion, contradictory to Musk’s purchase of it for $44 Billion. MVP then claimed that Twitter is on its way toward bankruptcy as per Musk.
Former WWE Superstar Mickie James also spoke in favor of MVP and stated that he paid too much for Twitter, but it was for tax purposes.

Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter has not sat well with the public. Even former WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer Mick Foley found it better to delete his social media account after Musk’s acquisition of it. Initially, except for Mick Foley, no other superstar spoke about Musk’s acquisition of Twitter. However, now many more are speaking up.

Mick Foley returned to Twitter to put forward a very bold statement from his side. He said, “I’m back on Twitter for one day – so I can PLEAD with all of you NOT to give your vote to election deniers.” Foley presented his POV and said that inflation and gas prices can always go up and down, however, democracy once gone can never return.
