Endeavor acquired WWE a few months ago. As expected, there have been a few changes in power structures. For starters, the wrestling promotion along with the UFC now operates under one big company called TKO. While one would expect Endeavor to work solely with WWE due to their merger, the multi-billion dollar company is partnering with other wrestling promotions too.

WWE’s future could have many unexpected opportunities

TNA recently uploaded a tweet revealing that they are partnering with Endeavor to expand their business further. However, the wrestling promotion is not merging itself with WWE or TKO. But, they are enabling ‘Endeavor Streaming’ to distribute its on-demand subscription service called ‘TNA +’. This partnership will come into effect starting January 5th.

Just like how the Impact Women’s Champion Mickie James appeared in the Women’s Royal Rumble event in 2022, this partnership with Endeavor opens the ‘forbidden door’ for many such future occurrences.

For various wrestling fans, this would be exciting news. And if you are someone who is wondering when this possibility can come into effect, then we have got you covered.

When can we expect another TNA star in WWE?

The last time this crossover happened, fans were watching Royal Rumble ’22. As mentioned above, Mickie James was the star who crossed the ‘forbidden door’ that year to compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Although she gave her best in the ring, the former Women’s Champion couldn’t take the win home.

Similarly, this year’s Rumble also makes it the perfect PLE to introduce another new face. Given the new deal between TNA and Endeavor, Royal Rumble ’24 can also feature a cross-promotional wrestler. Since events apart from the first PLE of the year are mostly based on storylines, it wouldn’t make sense for a crossover.

This makes Royal Rumble highly important when it comes to offering such a moment. Seeing the audience reaction in 2022, WWE might take the same step again this year.

After experimenting with this on the women’s card for the PLE, we might see a new face turn up at the men’s Royal Rumble too.
