Even After Receiving Disturbing News, Big E Interested in New WWE Role, Looking at the Bigger Picture in Life

One of the most distressing situations in WWE during recent years was when Big E got injured. The reports showed that The New Day member will take time but he’ll be healed and ready for action in the ring. Separating him from his faction had worked and Big E was even the WWE champion for a considerable time.

But it all came crashing down with this injury. If you thought the injury was bad, there’s even more disheartening news. Even though he has received this tragic news, the former WWE champion is open to welcoming this new chapter in his life.

Despite disheartening news about his wrestling career, Big E strives for another role in WWE

In the SummerSlam Service Experience, Big E revealed to fans that doctors have advised him to never wrestle again. This news comes just four months after it seemed that Big E could return to the ring. But the hopes have all subsided, as even Big E is interested to gear up for another role in the company.

This new role is one that many wrestlers have taken before, commentary. Even right now, Corey Graves, Wade Barrett, and Booker T are in the commentary booth. Just like Big E’s case, Samoa Joe, back when he was a part of WWE, did commentary for a while before returning to the ring.

 

With his mic skills being one of the best in the company, E’s future in commentary looks promising. But what can we expect from New Day’s big guy moving forward in WWE?

What does this mean for Big E’s future in WWE?

Being one of the fan favorites, Big E’s absence from the ring will definitely put a sour taste in fans’ tongues. But with this upcoming new role as a commentator, at least the former Intercontinental champion will be a part of WWE TV.

In wrestling though, there’s always the case of never say never.

Just a few years earlier, we saw three superstars come back from career-ending injuries. Daniel Bryan first shocked the world during his WWE tenure, then Edge left everyone jaw-dropped by coming back at Royal Rumble, and finally, AEW’s Saraya came back to the ring as well. So, in the deep crevices of your heart, fans will still hold the expectation of seeing Big E return to the ring.
