Reigns is unbeaten since he won the Universal Championship, but Goldberg might just have his number.

Even though the duo clash for the first time at Elimination Chamber, Goldberg may have the mental edge going into the match. Since the Hall of Famer has destroyed some of Roman’s family previously in his career.

Goldberg smashes The Rock

The Hall of Famer made an unforgettable debut on Monday Night Raw in 2003, when he came in and wreaked havoc on Roman Reigns’ cousin ‘The Rock’. Goldberg came in all guns blazing and delivered a massive spear to The Great One.

After a little back and forth between the two WWE Legends, The Rock tried many cagey moves to win. But the match ended with a pinfall following a jackhammer by Goldberg to The Rock.

Umaga (Jamal) is laid to waste by Goldberg

Before competing in WWE as “Umaga”, Edward Smith Fatu appeared on Raw in 2002 as “Jamal”. He was part of a tag team called “3 Minute Warning” with Roman Reigns’ real brother Rosey. Umaga himself is a cousin of Roman, as they belong to the same Anoa’i family.

Back in 2003, 3 Minute Warning attacked Goldberg, but the Hall of Famer again showed an example of his strength. He delivered a massive spear to Umaga and Rosey, almost breaking them in half. The Hall of Famer laid waste to Roman’s cousin Umaga.

Roman Reigns’ real brother Rosey gets pummeled by Goldberg

Apart from Three Minute Warning, Goldberg also had a brief and vicious rivalry with Rosey. Rosey is Roman Reigns’ late brother. The Hall of Famer once speared Rosey through a barricade, almost breaking him in half.

But the duo faced each other in a proper match on Raw in 2003. He dominated Rosey and defeated him after a massive jackhammer.

Roman Reigns’ uncle King Haku (Meng) gets demolished by Goldberg

In WCW, Goldberg was involved in a heated rivalry with Roman’s uncle King Haku. Haku wrestled under the name “Meng” in WCW and clashed with Goldberg several times. But he could not defeat the Hall of Famer. In fact, he decimated Meng in every match they had.

The Hall of Famer recently spoke on WWE‘s show The Bump and restated the fact that he is undefeated against Roman’s family. The match between the two is incredibly personal.
