Wrestling promotions have to come up with adaptive regulations to ensure the safety of their talents. But when some faces in the audience get past the security measures, they often become a threat to a wrestler’s personal space and safety. In such a scenario, wrestlers are at the discretion of the management and security to save them. However, Seth Rollins reacted pretty differently when he found himself stuck in such a situation.

This happened during a WWE event, but instead of waiting for the fan to face the consequences of his actions, Rollins took his matter in his own hands. The Architect punished the fan for not respecting his personal space.

Seth Rollins punished unruly fan in unique way

Rollins appeared on his ex-rival, Logan Paul‘s podcast. Before the ‘Impaulsive’ episode aired, Paul uploaded a promo for the episode to hype up wrestling fans along with the rest of his followers. In the promo he posted, we can see Rollins talking about this one time he punished a fan for tackling him during a WWE event.

The incident occurred during an episode of RAW on November, 2o21. The fan tackled Rollins as he was walking up the ramp.

In the video clip shown in the promo video posted by Logan Paul, Rollins confessed to seeing someone in the corner running toward him. Before he could react, the fan tackled him to the ground. This alerted the surrounding security. “Everybody was trying to get him off. His legs were kinda like this [imitates the fan who had his legs spread wide]. So, I just reached up and just [imitates his own action where he grabbed his genitals],” the wrestler added.

The current World Heavyweight Champion probably knew that the security was almost done with their task of rescuing him. However, it looks like the wrestler wanted to punish the fan and teach them a lesson.

Unfortunately, this is not the only experience that a wrestler has had with a fan trying to get hold of them during an event. One such incident happened during Bret Hart’s Hall of Fame induction.

MITB gave a heartbreaking defeat to several wrestlers. One of them was Roman Reigns, who was pinned after more than 1000 days, by his own cousin. When a shocked and hurt Reigns was walking out of the arena, a fan appeared to take advantage of his state and grab his hand. To this, The Tribal Chief didn’t utter a word but shook off his hand, which fans found to be in kayfabe.

This instance also divided the WWE universe into two sides. One where people opposed the fan’s actions and one where people were trying to normalize it.

The former type might be satisfied to hear Rollins’ revenge story on Logan Paul’s podcast.
