WWE has lost a handful of talents during this year. To add to the list, the veteran producer Kevin Dunn recently announced his retirement from the company, ending a nearly three-decade stint. That said, now it seems there will also be some interesting additions to the new year roster. AEW’s Andrade El Idolo might be the foremost one on the list.

Andrade El Idolo is now a free agent following his recent AEW walkout. The former WWE superstar left Khan’s association following the jam-packed Worlds End pay-per-view this Saturday.

At AEW World’s End, Andrade El Idolo completed a singles match against Miro. After going back and forth, he finished it on the losing end. Shortly after, Tony Khan shockingly spilled the bean during the post-show scrum that Andrade El Idolo decided to leave the promotion and the company agreed on it in a mutual term.

Ever since rumors mills have been running high with the notion that Andrade “Cien” Almas could find his way back to his old wrestling home, WWE. The speculation further said that the former NXT Champion might return to the blue brand and join forces with a top heel, Santos Escobar. But the latest update regarding this issue suggested a more early return for the 34-year-old and to a different brand.

According to some internal sources, Andrade could be back with WWE as soon as Raw this Monday. It came from the early declaration of a former WWE Champion to be back on the ‘Day 1’ episode of WWE RAW.

However, even if the ex-AEW star returns to WWE, she won’t meet his wife Charlotte Flair at the ringside anytime soon.

Andrade El Idolo had a sweet message for Charlotte Flair amidst the WWE return rumor

Charlotte Flair is currently having a tough time after receiving multiple injuries including a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a recent episode of WWE Smackdown. The injury occurred after she had slipped from the top rope and found her leg stuck between ropes while locking horns with Asuka.

This mishap led her to be sidelined for nearly nine months. Amidst this tough phase, Flair’s husband Andrade El Idolo helped her to keep her chin up through a heartfelt New Year message.

Ahead of a potential WWE return, Andrade wrote, ”We wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! @charlottewwe #mami , I know that this year ends in a way that you never imagined, but I know you as a partner and wife, and you will return in 2024 much better than before. I understand that it will be very difficult because it is your first knee injury and you love the business, but you also love challenges and this is one of them and the day you return no one will stop you.”

We need to wait to see if that former superstar is Andrade El Idolo or someone else.
