Exciting Update on John Cena and Dwayne Johnson in the DCEU

The careers of Dwayne Johnson and John Cena are quite identical. Cena, like The Rock, went on to have a successful career in Hollywood after establishing himself in WWE. Although they have delivered iconic WrestleMania main events, the WWE legends are yet to share the screen together.

However, there are some signs that something might happen pretty soon. Recently, responding to Black Adam’s trailer, the Peacemaker said, “I can take him”.

The Rock and John Cena are the DCEU’s official members. While ‘The Prototype’ has already made his debut in Suicide Squad, Johnson will make his DCEU debut with Black Adam on October 21.

The trailer of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam sparked a social media frenzy. This trailer drew the attention of a number of celebrities, including Jason Momoa, Queen Zelina, Ryan Ochoa, and others. Additionally, in response to the trailer, Peacemaker stated he can beat him. This might be a sign that we can expect ‘The Champ’ and ‘The Great One’ together really soon.

Additionally, Peacemaker has also referenced Black Adam previously. In case you missed it, there was a scene in Peacemaker episode 4 where an officer was reading a newspaper with the headline, “Intergang seizes control in nation of Kahndaq.” 

Undoubtedly, it will be interesting to see whether they work together in a future DCEU film.

Dwayne Johnson and John Cena have a lot in common in their careers

The Rock and John Cena are two of the most famous people on the planet right now. In addition, their professional paths are quite similar. The fact that they are two of the most famous WWE superstars makes their connection more special.

On the other hand, both did not impress many during their initial WWE days. Johnson’s Rocky Maivia moniker was underperforming, whereas Cena’s ‘Doctor of Thuganomics’ character was a failure. However, later in their careers, both had immense success.

Likewise, ‘The Cenation Leader’ and the ‘Brahma Bull’ have both played roles in one of the most popular film franchises, ‘Fast and Furious.’ And now both are key parts of the DC Universe.
