16-time world champion Ric Flair, undoubtedly one of professional wrestling’s all-time greats, had an illustrious career that spanned almost four decades in NWA, WWE, WCW, and TNA. Despite being retired, ‘The Nature Boy’, who still engages in workouts, proved age is just a number as he wrestled a top AEW star.

The WWE Hall of Famer tweeted a video of him and AEW’s Jay Lethal having a friendly match in the ring. In the clip, Ric Flair took a few big bumps, ran across the ring, and took a body slam.

‘The Nature Boy’ wrote, “Someone Had The Audacity This Weekend To Ask Me If I Can Still Do This. I Said “Really??? Naitch Don’t Play!” WOOOOO! @TheLethalJay”.

Ric Flair and Lethal started it off with a lockup and transitioned into Lethal taking the lead as he locked heads with the 73-year-old. ‘Slick Ric’ put a hammerlock on the AEW superstar and tried for a leg grab takedown.

The training match between the two got more interesting as Flair took a body slam from Jay Lethal. Subsequently, they exchanged a series of chops and punches.

In the end, Ric Flair and ‘The Franchise’ jokingly threw some taunts at each other, including Flair’s ‘WOOOs’.

How Many Kids Does Ric Flair Have?

It’s not the first time he shared a ring with Jay Lethal. They had a ‘Woo Off” segment in TNA back in 2010, where Jay pinned Flair. Later, they met in a Street Fight on an episode of Impact Wrestling where ‘The Nature Boy’ won.

Fans were surprised as Ric Flair shows he still got it in the ring

Ric Flair hasn’t had an official match since 2011 when he lost to Sting. Since then, he has undergone numerous health issues and surgeries as well. Hence, this video of him wrestling and taking bumps at 73 left fans on Twitter in shock.
