No matter what he does, Logan Paul ends up in the headlines for some reason or the other. A few weeks ago, it was for his NSFW photo shoot with his WWE United States Championship belt. Now he decided to take shots at the TKO Group’s latest board member, Dwayne Johnson. Just hours after taking a dig at Johnson, he decided to shoot another witty one-liner at the People’s Champion.

Logan Paul is at it again

In a recent tweet, The Maverick stated, “Dwayne (Johnson) about to fire me.” Why would he say something like this? Well, the star took a dig at Johnson on the latest episode of his podcast, IMPAULSIVE. In a clip shared by him, he could be seen with John Cena discussing Dwayne Johnson’s latest return to WWE. In the clip, he was seen asking Cena whether he thinks Johnson wrote “Should I sit at the Head of the Table” on his wrist.

The statement caught Cena off guard because Paul asked the question with a straight face and in a serious tone. The segment that Paul is referring to is from Johnson’s latest WWE appearance on Raw Day 1. After a small brawl with Jinder Mahal, Johnson put out an indirect statement that hints at his feud with Roman Reigns in the future.

The reason why Paul tweeted this is the fact that Johnson has been recently announced as the recent addition to the TKO group. While the pro wrestling star might have occasional appearances in the ring, he is also one of the Board of Directors of the company.

This is particularly an honor for the star and the Anoa’i family, as they are considered to be major contributors to the sport. However, Johnson had some words to say after the announcement.

Johnson’s reaction to becoming Paul’s boss

While he hasn’t reacted to becoming Paul’s boss in particular, he has stated his feelings about becoming a board member of the company. The Hollywood star stated that his father, grandfather, and many other family members have contributed to the sport and WWE in the past. He further added that none of them would have thought that someone from the family would receive such an honor. Apart from that, he has sent a subtle message to his cousin Roman Reigns.

In the early hours of January 23, 2024, the TKO Group released an official statement stating that Johnson would be inducted as one of the board members. This also puts him in a long-term promotional agreement with the company. Apart from that, Johnson has secured the rights to his ring name ‘The Rock’ which previously was a WWE intellectual property. Do you think Johnson will react to Logan Paul’s statement?

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
