The new WWE regime under Triple H has impressed the fans with most of their decisions. A lot of fan-favorite names have been given TV time, and they have brought back many names who left the company.

But WWE surprisingly decided to let go of a popular star Mandy Rose last week. Hours after, Rose lost the NXT Women’s title to Roxanne Perez, which many fans saw as a sign of her returning to the main roster.

However, WWE announced her exit from the company soon after her title loss. As she was a popular name, her unexpected exit drew a mixed reaction from the fans.

Later, it emerged that she had posted some content on her FanTime page to which WWE had taken exception and decided to release her.

Speaking on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast, Freddie Prinze Jr. talked about Mandy Rose’s release from WWE. Prinze said this might be the first fumble of the Triple H regime. He said, “In what I think might be the first fumble that Triple H has had, they released Mandy Rose, the NXT Champion.”

Prinze Jr. who worked as a creative writer in WWE from 2008 to 2010, then praised Rose. He continued, “If you aren’t familiar with her, she rules. She’s awesome, she’s been the champ for over a year. She’s drop-dead gorgeous, she can talk on the mic a bit”.

Prinze Jr. further added that coming to NXT from the main roster should not be seen as a demotion, since many stars want to help out the NXT roster.

Despite her release, the former Toxic Attraction leader seems to be doing good for herself. Malki Kawa, who is the agent of Mandy Rose, revealed that the former NXT Women’s Champion had made a mind-boggling half a million from her FanTime content since her WWE release.

This certainly puts Rose in a healthy financial situation for the foreseeable future. Thus it remains to be seen whether she will consider a return to the ring with any other promotion or continue to make big bucks with her online content.
