In 2017, on Instagram, The Rock shared a video from his movie set filming for ‘Rampage’. During that, Brahma Bull had attempted to imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.

Additionally, in the video, Dwayne Johnson admits that he did an awful job impersonating Mr. Olympia seven times. In the caption, he mentioned, “Enjoy me completely butchering my best @schwarzenegger impersonation while rehearsing on set of #Rampage.”
He also provided an interesting tale in the post, stating, “first time we had dinner he [Arnold] said, ‘You can take the brass ring to places it’s never been before’ in his iconic accent which clearly I suck at.”

He also mentioned that, as a kid, Schwarzenegger was one of his heroes. And when he first came to Hollywood, he was one of the biggest stars on the planet. Although he was the biggest star, he was really friendly and respectful to him.
During his early acting career, Johnson and Schwarzenegger also worked together on Johnson’s film, The Rundown.
Dwayne Johnson has outperformed Arnold Schwarzenegger in terms of box office revenue
It is well known that Johnson is currently the biggest global celebrity. Additionally, in 2021, he was the highest-earning actor. His action-packed films did a phenomenal job at the box office.

Mr. Olympia, as he mentioned, was one of his heroes of choice. Additionally, in terms of movie office revenues, Johnson outperformed his idol.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day was Schwarzenegger’s most profitable film. Terminator 2 earned $519.8 million. In terms of Hollywood box office revenue, Johnson, on the other hand, is well ahead. Fast & Furious Franchise, which grossed $1.5 billion, was Johnson’s most successful film.

Additionally, this isn’t his only film in which he outperforms Mr. Olympia. There have been a number of films that have eclipsed Schwarzenegger’s box office record.
